Michelle Decoito

Michelle DeCoito's work experience begins in 2007 as an Office Assistant at T.G.L.R.C. Lambert Roofing, Inc. In this role, they provided general office support, including filing, copying, and answering phone calls.

From 2008 to 2011, Michelle worked as a Billing Specialist at Hill Associates-Healthcare Management Systems. Michelle managed patient accounts, performed insurance billing, and ensured timely collections.

In 2011, Michelle joined Steward Health Care as a Cash Operations employee. Their responsibilities included processing deposits and receipts, reconciling cash balances, and monitoring insurance denials.

From 2012 to 2013, Michelle continued to work at Steward Health Care as an Accounts Receivable Analyst. Michelle monitored insurance denials, handled appeals, and demonstrated knowledge of payer guidelines.

From 2013 to 2014, Michelle worked as a Cash Application Specialist at The MENTOR Network. Michelle utilized automated AR software, processed cash transactions, maintained reconciliations, and addressed account credit balances.

At MKS Instruments, Michelle held multiple roles starting in 2014. Michelle began as an Accounting Support 2, then transitioned to a Payroll Support role. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Senior Payroll Analyst.

Currently, Michelle works at Ferrotec as a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst, starting in November 2019.

Michelle DeCoito started their education at Patuxent High School, where they obtained a GED in the field of study: All required, from the years 1998 to 2000. Michelle then pursued an associate's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Medical Coding and Billing from American InterContinental University Online, from 2008 to 2010. Later, they attended Mount Washington College from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting. Finally, Michelle completed their education at Kaplan University from 2015 to 2018, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting. During their education, they also obtained additional certifications from lynda.com in Excel 2013: Macros in Depth, Excel 2010 Essential Training, and Managing and Analyzing Data in Excel 2010 in the years 2014 and 2014.
