Daniela Basile

Daniela Basile has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the railway industry. Daniela began their career at Trenitalia S.p.A., where they held various roles such as an Office Specialist, Public Relations Specialist, and later became an International Activities Specialist. In 2012, they joined RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana as an Investment Planning and Evaluation Specialist. Daniela then moved to Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane in 2014, where they worked in various positions including Senior Business Development Specialist, Head of Export Support, Head of Market Intelligence, and currently serves as the Head of International Market Analysis. Their expertise lies in market analysis, business development, investment planning, and international activities within the railway industry.

Daniela Basile holds a Master's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, specializing in English Language and Literature, from Università di Trento. Daniela also participated in the Erasmus programme at the University of Leicester, where they studied English Language and Literature. In addition, they completed another Erasmus programme at Université de Corse Pascal Paoli, focusing on French Language and Literature. Daniela obtained their High School Diploma in Business Administration and Foreign Languages from Luigi Einaudi Institute. Furthermore, Daniela Basile has completed professional development courses in the field of transportation, including the La Nouvelle COTIF at CIT (Comité International des Transports ferroviaires) and the STAIRRS program on sustainable mobility and intermodality at UIC - International Union of Railways.
