Giulia Ferrara

Giulia Ferrara is an experienced HR Specialist currently working at Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane since June 2017, where responsibilities include training and learning, as well as recruitment and employer branding. Previously, Giulia served as a Junior Project Manager at Istituto di Ricerche Internazionali Archivio Disarmo (IRIAD) from January 2009 to January 2017, managing projects co-financed by structural funds and handling administrative tasks such as budgeting and reporting. An internship at the World Food Programme in 2013 involved communication and press office activities, while earlier experience as a Cooperante with Progetto Sud involved international cooperation project management in Sri Lanka. Giulia holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and Applied Social Sciences, as well as advanced and foundational degrees in Innovation and Development, and Sociological Sciences from Sapienza Università di Roma.
