Camden Lang has worked in the energy industry since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Drilling Data Analyst and Engineer Intern for Aqua Caliente. In 2017, they held two internships at XTO Energy, one as an Operations Engineer Intern and the other as a Consulting Facilities Engineer / Development Planner for Schlumberger. They also worked as a Drilling Researcher and Data Analyst for Colorado School of Mines in 2017. In 2018, they worked as an Underground Subsurface Driller and Data Analyst for Colorado School of Mines, and as an Operations Engineer for XTO Energy. In 2019, they worked as a Co-op Development Engineer for Discovery Natural Resources LLC and as an Operations Engineer for XTO Energy. In 2021, they worked as a W/WW Transmissions and Utilities Engineer for Freese and Nichols. Their current role is Drilling and Completions Operations Engineer at Fervo Energy, which they began in 2022.
Camden Lang obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines between 2015 and 2019. In 2017-2019, they also obtained a Minor with Specialty in Humanitarian Engineering - Leadership in Social Responsibility from Colorado School of Mines. In addition, they obtained a Driller certification from the International Association of Drilling Contractors in April 2020, and a Workover/Wellwork certification from the same institution in November 2019.
