Morten Stenberdt Espensen

Morten Stenberdt Espensen is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Team Lead and Solution Architect for Money at Festina Finance since May 2025, Morten shapes technical architecture to ensure scalable and secure solutions. Previously, as Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Lunar from June 2022 to September 2025, Morten led the development of core banking capabilities for international payments. Additional roles include IoT and Backend Software Engineer at Connected Cars A/S, Back-end Lead at MobileLife by Danske Bank, and Full Stack Developer at Sunrise A/S. Morten co-founded cHosting, a web hosting startup, and contributed as a member of the CTF team at Gallopsled. Morten holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen.
