Oliver Niese

Oliver Niese currently serves as a Member of the Management Board and Head of Digital Business at Festo Didactic since April 2022, after holding the title of Vice President Digital Business at Festo from January 2021 to March 2022. Niese also has experience as Managing Director at Resolto Informatik GmbH during the same period. From December 2010 to December 2020, Niese was Vice President of Professional Services North EMEA at SAS, overseeing a department of over 900 professionals. Prior roles include Senior Director Professional Services for the DACH Region at SAS, Vice President and Member of the Management Board at Attensity Europe GmbH, and Director at empolis GmbH. Niese began a career in project management at METAFrame Technologies GmbH and worked as a research associate while pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at TU Dortmund University, where Niese also earned a Diplom Informatiker degree.
