Tori Fujinami has been working in the robotics engineering field since 2017. Tori began their career at Mayfield Robotics as a Software Engineer, where they designed an obstacle detector using a combination of sensor messages and developed rostests. Tori also worked as a Hardware Engineering Intern (Part time). In 2018, Tori moved to Cobalt Robotics, where they worked as a Robotics Engineer. In 2020, they began working as a Robotics Engineer at Fetch Robotics. Prior to this, they held various roles at Stanford University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Mayfield Robotics. At the University of Illinois, they worked as a Lab TA and Homework Grader, engineering teaching lab specialist's assistant, and student employee, where they completed projects and lab experiences including implementing IIR and FIR filters on a TI DSP chip, devising a real-time audio spectrogram display, and designing and building a device to demonstrate the theory behind CT scans. Tori also completed an independent study research position with Dan Block.
Tori Fujinami obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2012 and 2015. Tori then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, which they completed in 2018.
