Bob Heineman

Bob Heineman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 2011, they worked as a Consultant at Sogeti, where they developed and maintained end-to-end solutions for clients, including supporting marketing websites, creating intake pipelines, and designing internal workflows. Bob then moved on to work as a Software Developer at Passport Health Communications in 2012, where they performed complex migration projects, implemented file transfer services, and developed monitoring applications. In 2013, Bob joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, where they created and maintained Prime signup channels for various devices, implemented new development processes, and provided operational support. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Rush Street Gaming as a Lead Software Engineer, leading engineering teams, implementing data pipelines, deploying infrastructure, and enforcing best practices. At physIQ, they served as the Lead Backend Engineer from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, Bob started working as an Independent Consultant. Finally, in 2022, they joined Fetch Rewards as a Senior Software Engineer.

Bob Heineman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University from 2008 to 2010. In 2015, they obtained the Python Track certification from Code Academy. Additionally, Bob has completed various courses and obtained certifications from Code School, including Front-end Foundations, Git Real, Rails 4: Zombie Outlaws, Rails for Zombies 2, Rails for Zombies Redux, Ruby Bits, Ruby Bits Part 2, Surviving APIs with Rails, and Try Ruby.
