Blazej Ksycki

Blazej Ksycki has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles.

At Fetcherr, they are currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering, responsible for overseeing communication and goal synchronization between the Data Team, C-level management, and other teams. Blazej is also involved in scaling the team while maintaining its agility. Moreover, they manage the work of Scrum Masters and Product Owners within the department.

Prior to this, Blazej worked as a Team Lead/Manager at Fetcherr, organizing team work on an internal level and communicating team goals to CAIO. Blazej was also responsible for implementing and defining the Scrum process.

Before joining Fetcherr, Blazej worked as a Data Engineer/Scrum Master at Fetcherr, where their responsibilities included data processing, building ETLs, QA, and business analytics. Blazej collaborated closely with the Product Owner and clients.

Blazej also has experience as an Owner of Extremme Software, where they undertook short-term freelancing projects focused on different technologies, particularly open-source technologies, with a focus on cloud deployment for AWS and GCP.

Blazej worked as a Consultant at SpeedApp, providing consultancy services.

At TietoEVRY, Blazej served as a Senior Data Engineer, developing cloud data platform solutions and customer data pipelines. Blazej also worked as a Senior Software Engineer/Scrum Master, responsible for developing a RESTful API project for the advertising industry. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer, optimizing the performance and scalability of a Python-based RESTful API.

Blazej has also worked as a Senior Oracle Developer at Nordic Consulting & Development Company, where they worked as a consultant for the insurance industry, analyzing and redesigning business processes for automation.

At Patcom Wojciech Wiktor Drewniak, they worked as a Software Developer, focusing on extending and integrating different products, particularly Sage Symfonia products. Blazej was responsible for developing plugins, custom components, and integration with customer systems.

During their time at Gamelion, Blazej worked as a Native Developer, taking part in the implementation of FIFA 07 for Symbian-based Nokia devices, primarily focusing on bug fixing and minor improvements.

Blazej Ksycki obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, they have earned multiple certifications in various fields such as Data Engineering, Big Data, Machine Learning, Project Management, and Google Cloud. These certifications were obtained from Coursera, with the most recent ones being completed in May 2023.
