Aleksei Bastin

Aleksei Bastin is an experienced data engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering at Tinkoff since December 2022, with a hybrid work format. Prior to this, Aleksei held the position of Head of Data Engineering at Republic from September 2021 to November 2022 in a remote work environment. Aleksei also has experience as a Senior Data Engineer at Facebook from April 2020 to July 2021 and as a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer at PokerStars from November 2016 to March 2020, along with an earlier role as a Data Warehouse Engineer within the same company. Aleksei began the career as a Senior BI Engineer at Innova Systems for a brief period in 2016. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Science from Saratov State University, attained between January 2008 and January 2014.
