Caradog James is a self-taught filmmaker from Swansea, Wales, and the co-owner of Fever Dream Films. Starting his career as a stills photographer, he transitioned to writing and directing by creating award-winning short films, including 'The Rainbow,' the first Western fiction film shot in Iran in 15 years.
Caradog's screenwriting credits include projects for Skydance, SyFy & UCP Universal, ITV, and he has received development funds from the UKFC/BFI, The Film Agency of Wales, and MEDIA. His work includes writing and directing an original TV pilot for NBC Universal with a $10 million budget and being hired by Skydance, the studio behind the Mission: Impossible series, to write a feature film.
He directed the feature films 'Little White Lies,' 'The Machine,' and 'Don't Knock Twice,' which were showcased in global film festivals like the Moscow International Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival. These films grossed over three million dollars at the box office and ranked third on the UK and US iTunes Charts.
His work has earned five BAFTA Cymru awards and the Best UK Feature Film award at the Raindance International Film Festival and Toronto. Additionally, his films received the BIFA for exceptional achievement under challenging circumstances.
