Karl Aherne

Karl Aherne is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in fintech and innovation-driven business development. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Strategic Business Development at Fexco since January 2018, Karl has influenced the company’s growth in processing over US$15 billion in transactions across 29 countries. In addition, Karl co-chairs PACE ESG, focusing on carbon emissions analysis. Previous roles include Director of Consulting at Deloitte, co-founder and CEO of Red Planet Ventures, and various leadership positions at Wayra and Telefonica O2 Ireland. Karl's educational background includes studies at Dublin Business School, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
