Folkert Boer

Folkert Boer is currently serving as a Data & Innovation Analyst at Feyenoord Rotterdam N.V. since June 2023, while also pursuing a PhD at Tilburg University focused on interaction processes in performance teams in soccer, employing network analysis to enhance individual and team performance. From July 2018 to June 2023, Folkert worked as a Sport Scientist and Data Scientist at RKC Waalwijk, as well as a Senior Data Scientist at REMIQZ Football Analytics, contributing to performance enhancement in the football industry through predictive data. Prior experience includes serving as an embedded Sport Scientist at FC Eindhoven and conducting a graduation project on performance analysis in soccer at FC Groningen BV. Folkert holds a Master of Science in Human Movement Sciences and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Bewegingswetenschappen from the University of Groningen.
