Angelo Nuzzo

Angelo Nuzzo, PhD, MBA, MA, currently serves as Program Manager at the FFG Austrian Research Promotion Agency since July 2018, focusing on European funding and investment while also acting as the National Contact Point for the European Innovation Council (EIC). Nuzzo has extensive experience in coaching deep-tech innovators and supporting the international scale-up of SMEs, along with serving as a trainer for the FFG Academy. Previous roles include Director of Technology Operations and Head of Product Development at Platomics GmbH, where responsibilities encompassed operational management, project management, and regulatory affairs related to genetic testing. Nuzzo's academic background includes a PhD in Bioengineering and Bioinformatics, an MBA, and multiple positions as a visiting researcher and lecturer, highlighting a strong foundation in bioinformatics and engineering.
