Kimberly Malone

In her role as Senior Director, Clinical Operations, Kimberly Malone leads project management, site management, and study start-up functions in North America. She brings more than 30 years of clinical research experience working in hospital, pharmaceutical and CRO environments.

Prior to joining FHI Clinical, Kimberly was the Sr. Director of Operational Optimization at IQVIA Biotech, overseeing business process optimization and eTMF system setup, archive and quality.

Throughout her career, Kimberly held roles including study coordinator, clinical research associate (CRA), Lead CRA, CRA Training Manager and Program Manager. She has led Clinical Monitoring, Project Management Office, Human Resources and Training departments. Her therapeutic experience includes infectious diseases, neurology, gastroenterology and oncology.

In 2013, Kimberly was awarded the Women in Business Award by the Triangle Business Journal. Kimberly holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University. She is also certified as a LEAN Facilitator.
