Farook Mahmood FRICS is a prominent figure in the real estate sector, holding various leadership positions within international and national organizations. Currently serving as World President of FIABCI International Real Estate Federation for the 2017-18 term and President of the FIABCI-India Chapter since its establishment in November 2015, Farook has significantly contributed to the real estate profession. Farook has also held roles such as Former Director of the National Waqf Development Corporation Limited and Former Board Member of the Central Wakf Council, focusing on developing Waqf properties and supporting educational initiatives in India. Additionally, Farook is an International Adviser for FNAIM, a founding member of the Global Real Estate Think Tank, past Chairman of the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations, and a member of several professional organizations including the National Association of Realtors - USA and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
