Craig Dwyer has a diverse work experience in the field of digital communications and campaign strategies. Craig currently serves as the Head of Digital at Fianna Fáil since April 2022. Previously, they worked as a PhD student and part-time lecturer at Dublin City University, teaching topics such as digital communications and social media management. Craig also served as a Fellow at The Social Change Initiative, conducting research on the use of digital and social media in campaigning for social change.

In addition, Craig founded ForaChange, a consultancy offering digital campaign and strategic communication services to nonprofit organizations and values-driven campaigns. Prior to that, they worked as a consultant digital strategist at Q4 Public Relations. Craig is also a co-founder of the Transparent Referendum Initiative, aimed at increasing the transparency of paid online advertising during referendums.

Craig has volunteered as a digital campaigner for the Australian Marriage Equality campaign and served as the Director of Social Media for the Yes Equality referendum campaign. Craig has also worked as a social media manager at Newstalk 106-108, responsible for developing and implementing the station's social media strategy.

Craig Dwyer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Limerick, graduating in 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Social Science in Criminology from Queen's University Belfast, which they completed between 2011 and 2012. In 2016, Dwyer enrolled in Dublin City University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Political Communication, finishing their studies in 2018. Most recently, in 2020, they attended University College Dublin and obtained a Professional Certificate in Digital Policy.
