Brian Walshe has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Brian is currently working at FIBA as a Broadcast Marketing- FIBA Media, where they collaborate with tier 1 rights holders to enhance the reach of FIBA Basketball through various promotional campaigns and media planning. Prior to this, they worked at Custom College Recruiting LLC, where they played a vital role in establishing the European operation and helping student athletes secure sports scholarships in the USA. Brian also served as the Director of Marketing and Deputy Executive Director at Mercy Ships, responsible for fundraising for the organization. Brian has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, having worked at Cochlear as a Marketing Manager, BT Global Services as a Leadership Development Manager and Senior Marketing Manager, and Medtronic as a Field Marketing Manager. At Cochlear, they led marketing strategies, managed a team, and handled budget and ROMI for marketing spend. At BT Global Services, they designed and launched a leadership development program and developed customer-ready IT services and Mobile working propositions. Brian's experience also includes roles at Cochlear Ltd, where they were responsible for sales and marketing in Scandinavia and EMEA, and Boston Scientific, where they introduced new technologies to European markets. Throughout their career, Brian has achieved impressive results, such as driving significant sales pipeline and wins and increasing revenue for various companies.

Brian Walshe has a diverse education history. Brian earned a BA in Sports Science from the University of Chichester from 1984 to 1987. In 2006 to 2007, they attended Hult Ashridge, where they studied Consulting and Change, although they did not obtain a degree there. In 2013 to 2014, Brian completed The IDM Professional Certificate in Social Media from The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, focusing on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. In addition to their formal education, Brian has obtained certifications from HubSpot Academy, including Hubspot Inbound in September 2017 and Hubspot Sales in July 2017.
