Gustavo Arellano Jorge has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Gustavo is currently the Managing Director at Duke Renders, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at FIBA from 2016 to 2020, where they served as the Head of Commercial Development and Senior Sponsorship Account Manager, responsible for managing key strategic FIBA Partners global accounts. Gustavo also served as the Marketing Manager at FIBA Marketing during this time, where they developed the strategic marketing unit and executed business development projects.
In addition to their work at FIBA, Gustavo has founded ALID (Asociación Latinoamericana de la Industria Deportiva) in 2021, where they currently serve as the Founder and Sponsorship Commission Director. Gustavo also has experience as a Project Manager for "Accelerate" at AISTS, where they designed workshops and addressed the specific needs regarding innovation of International Sports Organizations.
Prior to their roles in sports management, Gustavo worked at Philip Morris International as the Commercial Development Manager and Regional Sales Manager, leading marketing programs and implementing strategies to increase sales and market share. Gustavo also worked at Dau Metal Venezuela C.A. as the Commercial Manager and Operations Manager, overseeing commercial relations and executing the company's commercial strategy.
Gustavo's early career includes a role as the Marketing and Sales Manager at Revista Enrumbate and as a Sales Assistant at Expectra Remote Management.
Gustavo Arellano Jorge completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Universidad Simón Bolívar from 2002 to 2009. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Administration at IESA, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. From 2015 to 2016, Gustavo continued their education at AISTS (International Academy of Sport Science and Technology), where they attained a Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology (MSA) with a focus on Sports Management.
