Jhonny Georges Abi-Rached

Jhonny Georges Abi-Rached has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Jhonny Georges started their career in 1994 at LBC and WOW Channel, where they served as a Production & Sound Operator, responsible for sound and video operation. Jhonny Georges then became the Chef D'emission and Head of Transmission Control Room.

In 2003, Jhonny joined Al Hayat - LBC Sat as a Technical Director, overseeing live coverage of various news events, including the Iraq Wars and the death of Prime Minister Rafic Al Hariri.

From 2005 to 2009, they worked at PAC PRODUCTIONS LIMITED as an Executive Switcher Director for reality programs such as Star Academy and Mission Fashion.

In 2006, Jhonny moved to LBCI as a Transmission Control Supervisor, where they developed first-class IT skills and worked in the Master Control Room. Jhonny Georges later became a Technical Director and TV Director, responsible for directing multiple cameras and overseeing the full production process.

During their time at LBCI External Operation Desk from 2008 to 2009, Jhonny held the position of Executive Technical Director, where they managed media operations for Al Ekhbaria channel in Riyadh and led the recruitment team.

In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Sports Director at LBCI, and in 2017, they were promoted to Senior Technical Director and TV Director.

Jhonny also has experience working for FIBA as an HB Support team member in 2017.

Throughout their career, Jhonny has demonstrated the ability to take quick decisions under pressure and has been involved in planning and executing large diarized news events. Jhonny Georges is also prepared to travel at short notice.

Jhonny Georges Abi-Rached completed their Master Degree in Business Administration & Media Management Executive MBA from the American University of Technology, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended College Centrale Jounieh for their High School education, although the exact duration is unknown.
