Gavin Stephens

Gavin Stephens, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Gavin has held various roles in different companies. In the Cleveland Cavaliers, Gavin started as a Sonar Operator in November 2017 and later became the Merchandise Concessions Manager, responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the Concession Merchandise department. Gavin then moved on to become the Training and Engagement Coordinator, Manager, Training and Engagement, and currently holds the position of Director, Talent and Engagement.

Prior to their time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Gavin served in the US Navy. Their roles include being a Sonar Operator, Recruiter, and most recently, the Lead Training and Maintenance Manager. In this role, they led a team and was responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of multiple sonar systems and calibration equipment. Additionally, they developed and implemented training plans to enhance the team's capabilities.

Gavin Stephens, PHR, has a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management from Post University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Electrical Mechanical Technology from Coastline College from 2008 to 2009. In addition to their academic achievements, Gavin has obtained several certifications including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HRCI in August 2020 and an Apprenticeship Certificate of Completion (Computer Operator) from the U.S. Department of Labor in April 2017.
