Donny Smith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Fibersmith since May 2013, Donny leads a company focused on providing fiber optic design and build services to enhance broadband access in underserved areas. Prior to this role, Donny held positions as Sr Communications Consultant at JD Fail Engineering and CEO at Jaguar Communications, where strategic planning was pivotal. Donny also founded Local Link, a regional dial-up ISP, and has a background in software development as a Programmer at S&S Software and IBM. Additionally, Donny served as CEO of Minnesota Cattle Company, engaging in international agricultural trade, and began a career at E. F. Johnson as an Electronics Technician.
