Nick Sawruk

Nick Sawruk has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nick started their career as a Research Scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory in 2001 and worked there until 2005. Nick then moved on to the United States Air Force as an Assistant Professor of Mathematical Sciences from 2005 to 2007. Following that, they joined Lockheed Martin Coherent Technologies as an Electro-Optical Research Engineer from 2007 to 2011.

In 2011, Nick joined Fibertek Inc. as a Laser Scientist, Senior. Nick held this position until 2017 when they were promoted to the role of Director of Optical Engineering. In 2020, they further advanced in Fibertek Inc. to become the Vice President of Business Development and subsequently became the Senior Vice President of Business Development in October 2021.

Throughout their career, Nick has gained expertise in various fields, including optical engineering, laser science, research, and business development.

Nick Sawruk completed their education at two different institutions. Nick first attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Physics & Mathematics. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Physics at The University of New Mexico from 2003 to 2005.
