Robert Brüll has had a diverse work experience. In 2008, they were a Praktikant at OTTO JUNKER GmbH and a Hilfswissenschaftler at Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT. In 2010, they began working at Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung (IKV) in Industrie und Handwerk an der RWTH Aachen, where they held the roles of Masterarbeiter, Hilfswissenschaftler, Bachelorant, Projektarbeiter, and Forschungslaborant. In 2012, they also held a Praktikant role at Robert Bosch GmbH. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Institut für Textiltechnik of RWTH Aachen University, where they were a Post-Doc, Head of Technical Fibres, and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter. In 2020, they became the CEO of FibreCoat GmbH, where they are responsible for developing and marketing high-performance fibre materials, including the aluminum basalt fiber 'AluCoat' which can be produced at one-tenth the cost of pure aluminum fibers.
Robert Brüll completed a Bachelor of Science in Maschinenbau from RWTH Aachen University from 2007 to 2013, followed by a Master of Science in Maschinenbau from the same university from 2013 to 2014. Robert then obtained a Master of Science in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the same university from 2014 to 2017, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the same university from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English CAE from Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2006.
