Mervi Airaksinen

Mervi Airaksinen currently serves as the Managing Director at Microsoft since April 2022, leading efforts to empower individuals and organizations through technology. Additionally, Mervi is the Chairperson of the Board at FiCom, which represents the interests of the ICT industry in Finland, and a member of the Board of Directors at Huoltovarmuuskeskus and the University of Vaasa. Previous roles include Vice Chair of the Board at Edita Group and a member of the Board of Directors at IBM and Vincit, along with leadership positions at various organizations. Mervi holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Business and Economics from the University of Jyväskylä and completed the National Defence Course in 2021.
