Rayhane Ghane

Rayhane "Ray" Ghane, PhD, is a seasoned Photonics Packaging Engineer and Business Development Manager at ficonTEC since January 2019, leading cross-functional projects and providing technical guidance across multiple countries. Ray has demonstrated expertise in supervising and training key manufacturers and universities in the photonics assembly industry, authoring proposals for government funding, and managing partnerships with institutions such as Semiconductor Florida Institute. Previously, Ray held roles at IMTEK, University of Freiburg, and Alzahra University, focusing on microfabrication, sensor testing, and innovative research in photonics. An accomplished academic, Ray earned a PhD in Microsystem Engineering from the University of Freiburg, a Master's in Solid State Physics from Islamic Azad University, and a Bachelor's in Solid State Physics from Imam Khomeini International University.
