Aleksandar Jevtić has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence and human-robot interaction. Aleksandar has held various roles at FICOSA, including Head of Research, Research Lead, and AI Team Lead. In these positions, they were responsible for leading research projects, acquiring funding, and coordinating R&D activities. Aleksandar has also worked as a Lecturer at Akademy.ai, teaching machine learning and deep learning. Additionally, Jevtić has held roles as an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission and the FFG Austrian Research Promotion Agency. Aleksandar co-founded and served as CEO of Beer Tailors, specializing in personalized craft beer brewing. Aleksandar has also collaborated with various academic institutions, including the IRI - Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial, CSIC-UPC, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Bristol Robotics Lab, and Umeå University. Jevtić's expertise lies in research strategy, project coordination, and technology integration.
Aleksandar Jevtić completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Belgrade, and they obtained this degree in the year 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2006 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science at the same institution, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, from 2007 to 2011.
In 2018, Aleksandar Jevtić further expanded their education by completing the Deep Learning Specialization program offered by Stanford University through Coursera. During the same year, they also pursued a Technology Transfer and Business Creation program at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
