Crystal Valentine

Crystal Valentine is a highly accomplished technology leader and investor with extensive experience in the field of computer science. Currently serving as Technology Fellow and Partner at Cross Creek since September 2020, and CEO of Valentine Ventures since June 2024, Crystal also holds positions as a Board Observer at Fictiv and Board Member of the Amherst College Loeb Center for Career Exploration and Planning. Previous roles include Chief Data Strategy Officer at Eventbrite and VP of Technology Strategy at MapR Technologies, alongside founding Frost Consulting. Crystal has contributed to academia as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Amherst College and has a strong educational background with a Ph.D. from Brown University, along with degrees from esteemed institutions such as the University of Padua and Amherst College.
