Salman Ahmed

Salman Ahmed is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in macroeconomic analysis and strategic asset allocation. Currently serving as the Global Head of Macro & Strategic Asset Allocation at Fidelity International since August 2020, Salman previously held the role of Chief Investment Strategist & Co-Chair Global Investment Committee at Lombard Odier Investment Managers from January 2013 to August 2020, where Salman also led fixed income solutions efforts. Prior to that, Salman was the Head of Global Macro at EDF Trading, focusing on FX, interest rates, and commodities, and gained valuable experience as a Global Economist at Goldman Sachs. Academic credentials include a PhD and MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Maths from Lahore University of Management Sciences, and A-levels from LCAS.
