Michael Carr

Michael Carr has a diverse work experience in the information technology field. Michael started their career in 1997 as an IT Manager at Ebix and later worked at TOWER Insurance, where they held various roles including Infrastructure Project Manager, Infrastructure Manager, and IT Operations Manager. In 2015, they founded their own company called Carr Computer Associates Ltd and served as a Project Manager. Michael then worked at healthAlliance as a Technology Provisioning Manager and later as a Technology Platform Manager. In 2022, they joined Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand as a Cloud Platform Owner and in 2023, they began working at Fidelity Life Assurance Company Limited as a Cloud Platform Lead.

Michael Carr has a diverse education history in the fields of Information Technology, Project Management, and Electrical Engineering. Michael has pursued a variety of certifications and qualifications, such as Agile Team Facilitation, PRINCE2 Practitioner & Foundation, ITIL Foundation, NZCE, and Electrician. Michael's education took place at Auckland University of Technology.
