Vijay Saraswat

Vijay Saraswat is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and software development. Currently serving as Head of GenAI and Head of Data and Insights at Fidelity Investments since June 2023, Vijay focuses on creating a Gen AI-first enterprise knowledge stack for investment professionals. Previously, Vijay held various leadership roles at Goldman Sachs, including Managing Director and VP, where contributions included establishing an R&D Engineering Lab centered on AI. With a significant tenure at IBM from 2003 to 2017, Vijay served as Chief Scientist in multiple divisions, emphasizing advanced programming languages and large-scale machine learning. Additionally, Vijay has held academic and engineering roles at institutions like Penn State University and AT&T, and has founded Language Machines. Vijay holds a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
