Jason Lapier

Jason Lapier is the Co-founder and CTO at Field Day. Jason was previously a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from April 2019 to July 2021. Prior to that, they were an author at HarperVoyager UK from January 2014 to December 2018. Jason has also worked as a Software Engineer at Elemental Technologies from May 2012 to July 2021 and as a Web Developer / Contractor at PhoenixMedia.com from January 2007 to December 2009. Jason started their career as an Information Systems Specialist at TACS/WRRC at the University of Oregon from July 2002 to May 2012 and then worked as a Network Engineer at SCT Boces from August 1997 to September 2001.

Jason Lapier has an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Computer Science from Corning Community College. Jason also has a certification from edX in edX Verified Certificate for Super-Earths and Life.

They work with Trevor Smith - Software Engineer, Eva Popp - Software Engineer, and Catalin Wong - Marketing & Community Development Manager. Jason Lapier reports to Eli Blackman, Co-founder & CEO.
