Katherine Moore Powell is a Senior Water Resource Scientist and Technical Director at Lynker Technologies, leading scientific geospatial visualizations for NOAA's National Water Center since February 2020. Additionally, Powell serves as an Associate Scientist at The Field Museum, providing expertise on sustainability and climate change adaptation. With extensive experience as a Project Manager and Climate Ecologist, Powell has led various research initiatives, authored publications, and contributed to environmental committees. Further, Powell's prior role as an Ecohydrologist at the United States Geological Survey involved multi-year projects focused on natural resources and hydrology. Educational accomplishments include a PhD in Environmental Studies, an MS in Hydrogeology, and dual BS degrees in Geology and Management of Information Systems from the University of South Florida.
