Le Monte Booker

Chief Financial Officer at FIELD MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

Le Monte Booker joined the Field Museum in November 2015 and serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). His primary areas of responsibility include Finance, Protection Services and Facilities Planning and Operations.

He is responsible for accounting, budgeting, grants administration, investments, debt compliance, in addition to security services, and facilities management, which includes institutional construction projects.

Prior to joining the Field, he held several senior management positions at large nonprofit organizations. He served for five years as the CFO for Easter Seals where he oversaw the finance, human resources, and office management functions. Le Monte also served as the CFO for the American Academy of Pediatrics for four years where he oversaw finance and accounting, Federal grants management, and legal/contract management services. For 13 years at UCAN, which is one of the largest human services organizations in Illinois, he held various positions leading from Bookkeeper to Vice President & CFO. During his time at UCAN, Le Monte led the Finance, Facilities & Construction, and Information Technology departments.
