Selden Paterson

Selden Paterson is an experienced professional currently serving as Exhibit Production Supervisor, Graphics Shop Supervisor, and Interactives Technician at The Field Museum since February 2019, focusing on building and maintaining interactive exhibitions. Previous roles include Guide at Bit Space, where curriculum development and teaching skills in woodworking, 3D modeling, vector design, and game-making were key responsibilities from February 2017 to February 2019. Selden also worked as a Video Editor at Lincoln Schatz Studio from September 2010 to February 2017, managing footage logging, capturing, and editing. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Web Design Instructor at Startup Institute in 2014 and an Editorial Intern position at Baeble Music in the summer of 2010, contributing to editorial content and video shoots. Selden holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, obtained between 2009 and 2013.
