Susan Faurot is an experienced leader in both nonprofit and corporate sectors, with a longstanding association with The Field Museum since 1997, where Susan has served on the Women's Board Executive Committee and led significant initiatives, including the Outreach Luncheon that raised $39,000 for The Women in Science Fellowship. In prior roles, Susan demonstrated exceptional sales and management skills at Expedition Wines & Spirits, Dinner at Eight, Commerx, Inc., the Society of the Plastics Industry, and Chroma Corporation, achieving remarkable growth in market development, client engagement, and budget management. Susan holds a BA in Geography and Political Science from the University of Denver and is recognized for pioneering projects that have set benchmarks in the plastics industry.
