Tauana Cunha is a highly skilled scientist currently serving as the Women's Board Postdoctoral Scientist at The Field Museum since September 2022. Prior to this role, Tauana held positions as a Smithsonian Institution Postdoctoral Fellow at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute from January 2020 to July 2022 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University in late 2019. The academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Harvard University, completed in 2019, and earlier education at Universidade de São Paulo, where both a Bachelor of Science and a Licentiate degree in Biological Sciences were obtained. Extensive teaching experience encompasses multiple roles at Harvard University and Harvard Extension School, in addition to scientific research positions at various institutions in Brazil.
