John Pearce, CPA, CGMA

John Pearce, CPA, CGMA has a diverse range of work experience. John started their career in 2008 as a DAFS at the Art Institute of Raleigh - Durham, where they worked until 2012. In 2012, they joined the AICPA as a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. After that, in 2017, they became a Financial Controller at Field2Base. In 2018, they worked as a Financial Director at BauscherHepp, Inc. Currently, they are the Director of Finance and Human Resources at Cary Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists, a position they have held since 2019. In this role, they are responsible for the organization's accounting, financial planning and reporting, and serves as the liaison with the CPA firm for all tax planning and preparation. John also works closely with the CEO and administrative team.

John Pearce, CPA, CGMA obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Campbell University. In October 2000, they earned their CPA certification from the N.C. State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners. Later, in October 2012, they obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the AICPA.
