Ryhor Prakapovich is a Lead Software Engineer at ICOL Group, focusing on the development of algorithms for optimizing technological processes and simulating robotic equipment since November 2019. As the Head of the Robotic Systems Laboratory at the United Institute of Informatics Problems and a Leading Research Scientist, Ryhor conducts scientific research in robotics and artificial intelligence, including filing patents and research grant applications. Ryhor serves as an Associate Professor at both Belarusian State University and the Belarusian National Technical University, teaching courses related to robotic systems and intelligent data processing. Previous experience includes work as a Software Engineer at HTC, where Ryhor processed IMU sensor data, and as a Computer Vision Research Engineer at Belstiepf, developing a conveyor safety visual control system. Ryhor holds a Specialist degree in industrial robots and robotic systems and a PhD in Technical Sciences from the Researchers Training Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
