Miles Fawcett has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they served on the Alumni Board at Maret School. From 2001 to 2008, they were Co-Owner of Paris New Media LLC, which was acquired in 2008. In 2004, they became Executive Vice-President and General Manager and Chair of the Technology Committee at Bridgeline Software Inc, and was part of the Executive Leadership Team when the company completed its initial public offering (IPO) on the NASDAQ market. In 2008, they joined the Board of Directors at ContentNow, Inc. and the Board of Advisors at OrderGroove. In 2016, they founded and owned Green Mountain Alarm, which was acquired in the same year. In 2017, they became a Senior Advisor to the Chairman at Kastle Systems. In 2018, they became the CEO of FieldHub Inc. In 2020, they joined Really Great Reading as Producer of Interactive Educational Content and a Member of the Board of Directors.

Miles Fawcett attended Maret School from 1980 to 1988. From 1988 to 1992, they attended Ithaca College and earned a BS in Communications with a focus in Motion Picture Production, Organizational Communications, Non-fiction Film, and Instructional Systems. During that same time period, they also attended Cornell University and participated in the Interactive Media Lab. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Master Electrician from the Government of the District of Columbia in 2009, Private Investigator and Special Police Officer from the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia in 2009, Travel Agent from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 1999, DCJS Compliance Officer from the Commonwealth of Virginia, and NICET Fire Alarm Technician (Level I) from NICET.
