Prashant Bhadri, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to present. Prashant is currently working as the Vice President of Research and Development at Fieldpiece Instruments since 2023. Prior to this, Prashant has worked at Philips as the Director of Global R&D Systems Engineering and later as Director of R&D Systems Engineering for Hospital and Respiratory Care. At Philips, they played a significant role in accelerating product development, expanding the product portfolio, and reducing development time.
Before working at Philips, Prashant served as the Manager of Systems Development at Fresenius Medical Care North America, where they contributed to the development of an industry-first "Portable Artificial Kidney" product and automated the verification process for the product. Prashant also worked as a Principal Systems Engineer at CareFusion, where they designed and developed systems for critical care medical devices, resulting in revenue capture and improved usability scores.
Prior to their industry roles, Prashant worked at Doheny Eye Institute as a Scientist and Engineering Fellow, utilizing their expertise in Electrical and Optical engineering to develop advanced microsurgical systems and secure patents for intellectual property. Prashant also worked at Entera-Tech/Emerging Concepts as a Scientist and Electrical Engineer.
Prashant began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, where they played a pivotal role in product research and innovation, secured funding for a NIH Point-of-Care Center for Emerging Neuro-Technologies facility, and collaborated on the development of a diagnostic solution for detecting brain aneurysms.

Prashant Bhadri Ph.D. obtained their education in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Prashant completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from 1999 to 2002. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the same field, which they completed from 2002 to 2005. Prashant Bhadri also holds several additional certifications, including being a Certified Community Emergency Response Team Volunteer from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a Competent Communicator, and a Competent Leader from Toastmasters International, as well as holding Provisional QFD Black Belt and Provisional QFD Green Belt certifications from the QFD Institute.
