Matt Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt currently works as a Sr. Software Engineer at FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company since September 2020. Prior to this, Matt had a long tenure at JCPenney where they held various positions. From November 2016 to September 2020, they were the Lead Engineer, leading the implementation of JDA Allocation and spearheading the use of JIRA and agile practices. Matt also acted as a Business Analyst and Project Manager during a downsizing period. From August 2013 to October 2016, they served as a Senior Software Engineer, converting RPAS Assortment Planning and Merchandise Financial Planning to Retail Accounting and implementing Location Planning/Store Clustering. Matt started their tenure at JCPenney as a Software Engineer in April 2007 and was responsible for installation, environment set-up, and release management during Oracle RPAS implementation. Matt also designed a build and deployment solution using IBM Rational Automation Framework and implemented SAS Size Optimization and PTC FlexPLM. Before this, Matt had various roles at JCPenney including IT Application Specialist II, IT Application Specialist I, Senior System Analyst, and System Analyst.
Matt Roberts has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Texas A&M University. Matt also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in June 2020 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
