Alex Petrushkin

Alex Petrushkin has extensive work experience in the food manufacturing industry. Alex is currently working as the Chief Engineer at Fiera Foods since February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Manager of New Technology, Innovation, and Operations at Fiera Foods from December 2013 to February 2022.

Before joining Fiera Foods, Alex worked at Bunge - Twin Rivers Technology as the Production Manager / Superintendent from April 2007 to April 2013. In this role, they successfully implemented various initiatives to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety. Alex also played a key role in achieving the SQF Level I certification for a new facility.

Alex has also held positions at Maple Leaf Foods as a Project Manager from September 2005 to April 2007, and at Canada Bread Co., Ltd as a Production Supervisor from May 2003 to September 2005. Prior to that, they worked at Cargill Foods Ltd as a Production Supervisor from January 2003 to May 2003, and at Cargill Inc as a Production Manager from January 1999 to July 2002.

Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in operations management, and a track record of implementing successful process improvement initiatives.

Alex Petrushkin attended Andersen Training in 1999, where they earned a certificate in "Step into finance for non-financial managers" with a focus on finance and budgeting. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Donetsk State Technical University, which they attended from 1990 to 1995.
