Darren England

Darren England is a highly experienced official in football, currently serving as a FIFA Referee and Video Match Official since January 2022. With a lengthy tenure at PGMOL since August 2012, Darren holds positions as a Select Group 1 Referee, a Professional Referee in Select Group 2, and previously as a National List Referee. Earlier roles included serving as a FIFA and Premier League Assistant Referee, representing The FA and PGMOL in various capacities. From January 2012 to December 2017, Darren was the National Project Manager for the EFL Trust, overseeing the government-funded National Citizen Service program. Prior experience includes working as a Football Development Officer at Reds in the Community, where notable programs were developed, and coaching with UK International Soccer. Darren holds a BA (Hons) in Sport & Recreation Development from Leeds Beckett University.
