Jeffrey Basch

Jeffrey Basch has extensive experience in various finance and business development roles, primarily in the healthcare and technology sectors.

Jeffrey co-founded Fifth Eye Inc. in 2017 and served as the Chief Financial Officer. The company provides clinical decision support software for hospital systems, utilizing machine learning to predict the risk of hemodynamic instability.

Prior to that, Basch worked as the Interim CFO for BioVigil from 2017 to 2018. During their time at the company, they acted as a trusted advisor to the CEO and other executives, focusing on hand hygiene compliance and patient safety systems.

From 2015 to 2018, Basch worked for TECAT Performance Systems as the VP of Finance. Jeffrey was responsible for strategic planning, financial reporting, and managing HR and compliance responsibilities.

Before that, Basch co-founded Accio Energy Inc. in 2008 and served as the Business & Operations Manager until 2017. Jeffrey also held the position of VP of Business Development at Adaptive Materials Inc. / Ultra Electronics from 2007 to 2008.

Basch began their career at General Electric in 1990 and held various positions within the Advanced Materials business. Jeffrey was promoted eight times during their 17-year tenure, eventually serving as the Director of Automotive Business Development. Jeffrey implemented a new Business Development organization and significantly increased business opportunities and revenue for the company.

Jeffrey Basch has a strong educational background in both business and engineering. Jeffrey obtained an MBA from the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1999, where they focused on Finance, Operations, and Marketing in Start-ups. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1986 to 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Jeffrey Basch has also obtained several certifications. In 2020, they completed the Statistics with Python Specialization, Inferential Statistical Analysis with Python, and Understanding and Visualizing Data with Python courses from Coursera. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuously enhancing their skills and staying up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques in data analysis.
