Kyle Backer

Kyle Backer is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology expert with extensive experience in founding and managing innovative companies. As Co-Founder and COO of Verve Reads since January 2017, Kyle has played a pivotal role in creating a platform that fosters connections between authors and readers across various genres, impacting millions of readers and tens of thousands of authors. In addition to this role, Kyle co-founded Fifth Star Funds in March 2020, focusing on addressing the funding disparities faced by Black founders in the tech industry. At NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC, serving since June 2004, Kyle holds multiple titles, including VP of Technology and Application Architect, bringing expertise in technology and database management. Additionally, as Principal Consultant at Backer Logic since May 2019, Kyle provides strategic consulting services. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics from Coe College, earned between 1998 and 2002.
