Chris Tyo

Chris Tyo is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security Detection Analysis and Response at Fifth Third Bank since June 2019, Chris is dedicated to enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture against internal and external threats while focusing on digital and cloud-based workloads. Previous roles include Information Protection Leader at Integral Defense, LLC and Director of Customer Solutions at Valvoline Inc., as well as a variety of positions at GE, where skills in network security, intrusion detection, and incident response were honed. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Ohio University, completed in 2007.
