Jacob George

Jacob George is a seasoned finance and analytics professional with extensive experience in the banking and higher education sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Payments, Marketing Strategy and Customer Analytics at Fifth Third Bank, Jacob leads a high-performing analytic team focused on customer management and program innovation for Payments. Previous roles at Capital One include Director of Analytics and Digital Transformation, where Jacob managed the transition of Commercial Lending systems, and Director of Marketing, where successful strategies resulted in the acquisition of 150,000 new accounts annually and significant portfolio profits. Additionally, as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, Jacob teaches business analytics courses. Jacob holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Technology from Shivaji University and Walchand Institute of Technology.
