Kristine Garrett is the EVP & Head of Wealth and Asset Management at Fifth Third Bank. Prior to their current position, Garrett served as the President of Private Wealth at CIBC US from June 2009 to October 2017. In this role, they developed strategy and implemented a national Private Wealth Line of Business integrating Private Banking, Trust, Investment Management, and Custody across Personal Advisory Services and Corporate/Institutional client segments. Garrett is also credited with substantially increasing profitability across geographies and secondary Lines of Business: Private Banking, Core Trust and Investment Management, Asset Management, and Custody by creating efficiencies and driving revenue growth in every facet of the business while making investments in people, process, product and platform.

Before their time at CIBC US, Garrett served as the Chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Chase in Arizona from July 2000 to August 2006. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of JP Morgan Chase's Arizona operations, including commercial banking, middle market banking, private banking, retail banking, and asset management.

Garrett began their career at JP Morgan in July 1989 as a Managing Director in the National Banking Practice Leader for Private Wealth. In this role, they provided strategic direction and leadership for JP Morgan's private wealth management business.
