Kia Fathi

Kia Fathi is an experienced professional in engineering and technology, currently serving as a Builder at Fifty Years since November 2023, where leadership in building products supports founders in their missions. Prior to this role, Kia spent over five years at Google, including a position as Senior Software Engineer and team lead for various initiatives. Kia's entrepreneurial journey began at Raydiant Screen Signage, co-founding the company and directing engineering efforts to develop cloud-based display solutions. With a background in software development at Minted and consulting roles including Technical Reviewer at Packt Publishing, Kia's earlier experiences include work as a Stem-Cell Researcher at Stanford University Medical Center and as a researcher at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. Kia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University.
